UPDATE: A9 fully reopens following earlier multi-vehicle crash near Daviot

The busy A9 trunk road has reopened in both directions near Daviot following an earlier crash.

The route was closed in both directions during the morning rush-hour after a multi-vehicle collision was reported at around 7.13am.

The northbound carriageway later reopened to traffic, although motorists using it were warned that there was still some debris on the road.

And, in a further update at 10am, Traffic Scotland confirmed that the route had since been cleared and had now fully reopened.
