Speysound Radio DJ Jack likes long air!
Fans of long-aired disc jockeys are in for a treat tonight on the strath's very own radio station.
When he starts his show at 8pm, Jack Morrison will be set to broadcast non-stop for 26 hours.
He told the Strathy it was all to boost funds for the amazing work done by Macmillan Cancer Support:
"A year ago I lost a very special person in my life.
"My Granda James Morrison was diagnosed with cancer and before he died Macmillan were there for him and for us, supporting him until the end.
"My love of music and radio comes from my Granda – after many evenings sitting with him listening to his many records and favourite shows on local community radio stations.
"I decided to do a radio marathon as it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I feel it is a good way to remember him."
The show will be on Speysound Radio, broadcast from Aviemore on 107.1FM across the Spey Valley and online at speysound.com

"Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
