A9 dualling: ‘approach with care’ at temporary Tomatin-Moy signals
The amendments affect the temporary traffic management arrangements at the Invereen roundabout on the Tomatijn-Moy stretch from today until next Saturday (May 24).
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said temporary traffic control measures, including stop/go signs, will be in place at Invereen roundabout to undertake the works safely.
“Road users are advised to approach the area with care.”
On Thursday May 22 for two nights, temporary traffic signals will be in place on the A9 at the Invereen roundabout with single lane running through the area.
These temporary traffic signals will be in place overnight between the hours of 7.30pm and 6am.
Next Friday (May 23) for one day there will be temporary changes made to the traffic layout at the location with both lanes continuing to run as normal, and from Saturday 24 the roundabout at Invereen will return to normal operation.
Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
“Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst these works are undertaken. These works are weather dependent and subject to change, please refer to the Traffic Scotland and A9 Dualling websites for update.”
