Nethy Bridge remembers





Celebrating VE day in the heart of Nethy Bridge, this beautifully spontaneous tank stands today in silent celebration.

It was constructed with the help of local farmer John Kirk.

"Heidi Stuart and I put it together in a couple of hours using stuff that came to hand," said Mr Kirk, of nearby Rothie Moon Farm.

"It's there as a centrepoint for all the locals' own, social-distanced celebrations of VE Day 75 years ago today (Friday, May 8, 2020).
