This time maybe they'll get their tea at Grantown!
A thundering good afternoon tea will be laid on at Grantown on Saturday.
The Harley-Davidson rally will be welcomed to the capital of Strathspey's fire station for a good warming cuppa from noon to 3pm and, as ever with the Thunder in the Glen gang, all for a good cause.
Teas, coffee and home bakes are to be served to the visitors – in fact, all visitors – at the station by crew members, raising funds for their Fire Fighters Charity.
"We're hoping to have as many people as possible come along and visit us," said Alison Jarvis. "It's a really good cause that the TITG will be supporting.
"The Fund understands the mental, physical and social burdens which can come from being a past or present member of the UK’s dedicated fire services community.
"It, in effect, rescues the rescuers and helps them to recover their lives when they need it most."
It's hoped that this year's reviving cuppas will get to be served – ironically, last year's event had to be cancelled when the firefighters were called out to an emergency...!
