For the 113th event there were 84 who joined in, running jogging and walking the course

The turnout included 43 were first-timers and nine of the participants recorded new personal bests. The day welcomed representatives of 16 different clubs to Strathspey.

As ever it was all made possible by the stalwart volunteers who ensured everything went without a hitch– although they can't in any way be held responsible for the weather conditions!

All the same, it's now a proven fact that Aviemore Parkrun, drawing visitors every week from near and far, is one of the great ways to start a weekend.

And there will also be more on the ever-popular social gathering in Thursday's Strathy.
