Fury over 'farcical' planning at Aviemore





The writing was on the wall for a much-loved old cottage in Aviemore this week – and now the building has gone, it still is.

After bulldozers removed Laurel Bank, on Grampian Road, to make way for a new development, protestors carried on criticising the move and one even went so far as to pin this message to the hoarding which has gone up at the boundary of the site.

The sign appeared today (Wednesday, November 13) simply to register the frustrations of some who never wanted to see the Edwardian cottage come down.
