Bank of Scotland has left Badenoch and Strathspey High Streets
The strath’s last High Street bank has gone.
Tuesday’s closure of the Bank of Scotland on Aviemore’s Grampian Road, bang on 3pm, ended an era that no-one as yet has quite managed to put a date on.

While no official release has come from BoS this week - apart from the instruction to the staff not to be photographed by the Strathy - we can confirm that the Aviemore employees will all be staying with the company and are relocating to Inverness and beyond.
As the closing branch review placed recently on the counter informed the account holders: “Your nearest branches are Inverness Longman and Inverness City.”
