Snow and winds cause A9 in Badenoch to close

Police have advised that the A9 is currently closed between Ralia and Dalwhinnie due to high winds and snow.

They say the snow gates at Ralia and Dalwhinnie are closed. However, the conditions are believed to be localised and at this time affecting only that area to such a degree.

A lorry has jacknifed in that area and recovery attempts are being hampered by the conditions.
