Covid has reared its head at one of the largest schools in Badenoch and Strathspey.
A number of staff and pupils are off at Grantown Grammar School at the moment following an outbreak of the virus.
It follows a relatively quiet period of late.
Headteacher Claire McGonigal said: "Just when we thought it had gone, we seem to have a little Covid spike at the moment in school.
"Luckily the symptoms aren’t nearly as bad as before and it’s more like a cold but we’ve got a few staff and pupils off at present.
"I’m sure that after the long weekend, it will have died down again and everyone will be fit and ready to focus on the final push before exams in April.”
