Rothiemurchus Farm Shop says make us your one a day!
A farm shop on the outer edges of Aviemore is promoting itself as an ideal way to exercise and shop during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Rothiemurchus Farm Shop has been opening its doors Monday to Saturday 11am to 3pm and can also deliver fresh high quality produce to the door with no delivery charge.
It is just one of a number of local shops and food places in the strath finding new ways to reach out to their customers during the nationwide shut-down.
James Easton, Rothiemurchus Hospitality Manager, said: "Customers are, of course, still welcome to come and shop in person.
"But many of them have reported back to us that they enjoy the quiet and beautiful walk to the Farm Shop, the hand washing facility inside the front door and everything being well spaced inside.
"We can supply fresh Scottish veg – our deliveries are arriving daily; fruit, local organic eggs. herbs and spices, Rothiemurchus Highland beef and velvety venison, chocolates, Easter treats, wine, gin, whisky, non alcoholic drinks and much more.
"There are lots of delicious treats as well as essentials."
The farm shop is at Inverdruie which is around 1.5 mile walk from the very south end of Aviemore, along the Cairngorm ski road.
