A9 restricted at Dalwhinnie after truck crash

The A9 is currently restricted just south of Dalwhinnie due to a crashed campervan.

Recovery work is continuing at the scene.

Police Scotland: "Around 1.35 pm on Wednesday, 12 May, 2021, police attended a report of a campervan overturned on the A9 southbound near Dalnaspidal Lodge.

“There were no reports of anyone seriously injured.

“The road was closed in both directions in order to recover the vehicle.”

No other vehicle is said to have been involved in the incident.

Fire service crews from Badenoch and Pitlochry were reportedly called to the scene to assist with the recovery of the vehicle.
