Rescue continuing for climber after fall in Cairngorms

Police are currently co-ordinating an on-going mountain rescue near Coire an Lochain after receiving a report of a climber having fallen approximately around 50 to 100 metres.

The man, who is believed to be in his thirties, has received serious injuries but these are not thought to be life threatening at this time.

Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team and RAF Helicopter Rescue 137 are currently en-route to assist the fallen climber.

There is no further information at this time.
