The train arriving at Aviemore is...from 1960!





Strathspey Steam Railway has welcomed a majestic new arrival.

Monday saw the beautiful Coronation Coach pulling in to Broomhill Station.

"This streamlined coach hasn’t been in the Highlands since the 1960s," said a thrilled spokesman for the railway enthusiasts.

Today the coach was standing proud at Aviemore for photographer David MacLeod.
