Jobs fair seeking people looking for work





Highland Council are sending out invitations to local jobseekers

The occasion is a Jobs Fair on Thursday, October 31 at the Ironworks on Academy Street, Inverness from 10am till 12noon.

"Prospective job hunters should be ready to start work and should also bring their CV with them on the day," said depute leader of the authority, Councillor Alasdair Christie.

“The Highland Council is supporting this important event being organised by the Department of Work and Pensions, Jobcentre staff in Inverness."

He explained: "The event is being held in response to current demand for staff from local employers.

"Anyone looking for employment is recommended to attend the Ironworks and see if there are any jobs that suit their skills.”

Businesses and employers attending the event will include: T.K.Maxx, Dobbies Garden Centre, Premier Inn, Debenhams, Tesco, The Army, The Highland Council, Newcross Healthcare, Skills Development Scotland and the Department for Works and Pensions.
