Police warning over road conditions in Badenoch and Strathspey
Northern Constabulary have said that the B9007 (Dava) Ferness to Carrbridge road is closed again at the snow gates.
They report that all other routes in Badenoch and Strathspey are open and passable with care.
A force spokesman said: "In the Badenoch area, the A939 Grantown to Ferness has lying snow, as does the A95 Grantown to Cromdale road.
"The B970 Grantown to Coylumbridge also has a fresh covering of snow."
The A9 Causeway Mire is affected by snow. Many side roads in the Caithness area are also affected by lying snow.
The Fort William and Glencoe areas are relatively clear of snow, but may be icy.
A Northern Constabulary spokesman said: "If travelling, drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to ensure that both they and their vehicle are suitably equipped and prepared for changeable wintry weather.
"They need to exercise caution and drive according to the prevailing weather and road conditions."
