Police warning over counterfeit £50 notes in circulation in Inverness area

Officers from Police Scotland's Highland and Islands Police Division are warning residents in the Inverness area to be wary of counterfeit £50 notes.
The warning was in a post on Facebook today which read: "We have been made aware of counterfeit £50 notes circulating in the Inverness area.
"On receiving any notes of any denomination always check the note for spelling mistakes, wording, serial numbers and watermarks.
"If in doubt check with another member of staff or your manager."
