Police officers in Aviemore are renewing an appeal to trace Rodrigo Falcon who remains missing in the area.

The 33-year-old was last seen about 2am on Sunday at The Vault nightclub on Grampian Road.

He not been seen or heard from since which is out of character and concern is growing for his welfare.

Chief Inspector Stuart Clemenson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen Rodrigo at any time since the early hours of Sunday to get in touch as a matter of urgency.

“Given the current cold weather I would ask anyone with a shed or outbuilding where someone may seek shelter to check this and report anything which may be notable to us.

“I would also urge anyone who may have been driving in the Aviemore area or on the A9 around 3am on Sunday to check any dashcam footage you may have.

“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 2387 of 11 December.”

Mr Falcon is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with dark hair cut in a mullet style with a moustache and beard.

When last seen he was wearing a brown woollen coat, a red jumper and baggy jeans.
