Police praise for Belladrum crowds
Police Scotland chiefs in the Highlands are praising revellers at this year's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival for their good behaviour during the event.
Very low levels of offences were experienced across the weekend with only one arrest in relation to an assault.
A number of personal quantity drug seizures were also made with reports to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
This was despite the pre-event warnings from both organisers and police that officers would be targeting such activity.
Chief Inspector Brian Mackay, event commander, said: "We'd like to thank the 18,000 festival goers who attended Belladrum this weekend for their co-operation and friendly approach which made this weekend a great success. There were low levels of crime and this did not disrupt the running of the event.”
