Police name victim killed in road accident near Spean Bridge





Police Scotland can confirm that the man who died in a crash on the A82 on Monday, 26 October was John Hugh Mackenzie from Fort William.

The incident happened around 5.25pm on Monday near Glengloy north of Spean Bridge.

Mr Mackenzie, 66, was the driver and sole occupant of a green Citroen Berlingo which was involved in a collision with a lorry.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured.

Police have said enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Anyone with information who has not already spoken to a police officer can call 101, quoting incident 2566 of 26 October.
