Police name Cromdale crash victim

Police Scotland have confirmed that a motorcyclist involved in a collision on the A95 at Cromdale, by Grantown, on Saturday, March 25, has sadly died.

The collision happened at around 9.30am and involved the motorcyclist and a blue Land Rover Discovery.

No one else was injured.

The motorcyclist was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the collision where he died on Wednesday, April 5.

He has been named as Richard Findon (36) who was from the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen.

“As is standard, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal,” a police spokersperson said.
