Police have confirmed woman as Sandra Davison

Police Scotland have confirmed the identity of a woman whose body was recovered from the water a week ago at Loch Morlich.

She is Sandra Davison (52), from Kendal, Cumbria.

A force spokesman said: "It is asked that the media respect the privacy of Sandra’s family and allow them to grieve at this most difficult time."

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Police issued four stills last Wednesday from CCTV cameras taken at the Glenmore Shop in a bid to trace Ms Davison’s family.
