Police in Aviemore investigate theft of cooking oil from holiday park





Used cooking oil has been stolen from a rural estate holiday park near Aviemore.

Police investigating the theft at Dalraddy Holiday Park say two men in a white or grey van – possibly a Peugeot Boxer – were spotted acting suspiciously nearby at around 5.20 am on Monday, July 7.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “If any members of the public have knowledge of this van or its occupants, please contact us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting PS-20250708-1080.

“We are reminding all catering businesses who store used cooking oil to be vigilant – it has value and can be utilised in various ways after its use in the food industry.”
