Police appeals for crimes in Badenoch and Strathspey
WHERE’S YOUR BIN?
Wheelie bins left by a caravan near Grantown have disappeared. The domestic containers - one green and one blue - were removed from what police call "a rural location" at some time between Decemer 16 and January 16.
TOOLS TAKEN
Power tools have been stolen from a van outside a residential address in Newtonmore.
Police say the theft took place on the night of January 13 or the folowing morning.
The haul included a yellow coloured Dewalt chopsaw, an orange coloured Paslode nail gun, a grey coloured Panasonic cordless drill and jigsaw (within the same box), a green and black coloured Hitachi jigsaw with white tape wrapped around part of it and a blue Makita hammer drill.
LOCK UP!
Police have again reminded local resident to secure their property - especially unattended buildings,sheds or outhouses - after an unattended building was broken open at Kinlochloggan on Friay night (January 17). No property was taken but the public have been asked to be extra careful in the strath.
AVIEMORE CAR TARGETED
A black Vauxhaull Astra was damaged on Saturday night (January 18) within the garden of a residential address on Grampian Road. The vehicle was scratched and dented having been struck what is believed to be a rock or stone which has been located nearby.
