Police appeal for missing Highlands man

Police Scotland are anxious to trace Brad Acland who has been reported missing from Dunbeath in Caithness, and is believed to be heading south.

The 34-year-old has not been seen since leaving his home address on Tuesday (August 19).

Brad is described as 6’ 4" in height, thin build, with dark hair and usually having a growth of stubble on his face. He is believed to be using a silver Vauxhall Astra car derived van with the registration number SX10 BKO.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Information given indicates that he may have connections in the Cumbria, Lancashire and Derbyshire areas and he is last believed to have been heading south from Caithness, although possible destination(s) are not known at this time."
