Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace 57-year-old Alexander Sneddon, who has been reported missing from his home in Falkirk.

He is believed to be in the Highlands heading towards either Lairg or Bettyhill.

Alexander was last seen in his white Vauxhall Corsa (registration SC64 DZV) crossing the Kessock Bridge northbound at around 3.15pm yesterday (Wednesday).

He is described as being heavy built with grey spiky hair and a moustache. When last seen, he was wearing dark jeans, a dark polo shirt and a red and black jacket with light grey trainers.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have information on his whereabouts, or may have seen someone fitting Alexander’s description, to contact Police Scotland on 101.
