Police Scotland is appealing for information after a laptop computer, i-Pod and a Samsung tablet were stolen from a vehicle whilst parked and left unattended in the Skye of Curr area.

The theft occurred some time between 6pm on Saturday (May 23) and Monday 1pm.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the force on 101.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal's office in Inverness after a man was allegedly caught with a personal quantity of herbal cannabis.

Police officers stopped a red Honda M/V on the A9 near to the junction with the A95 at Granish at around 9.15am last Tuesday (May 19).

A force spokesman said: "Following a search of the vehicle recovered a possession quantity of herbal cannabis."
