Police Scotland are appealing for information following a number of break-ins to vehicles in Kingussie on Sunday night or the early hours of the following morning.

They have revealed no details of the cars involved, their whereabouts or any items taken.

A force spokesman said: "Police would seek to remind members of the public to deter opportunist theft by ensuring that their vehicles are locked, remove valuable property from vehicles or at least hide it away from view."

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
