Aviemore pool closed for next few days
Swimming is off the activities list at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort after problems with the plant room at the pool.
The pool has been closed since Wednesday and is expected to remain so for several more days.
Paul Bayliss, Macdonald Aviemore Resort managing director, said: “Our pool is closed for a few days due to unforeseen circumstances but we expect it back up and running by early next week.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
"The resort’s many other facilities are unaffected by the closure and are open to be enjoyed.”
A sign went up on the door stating that the pool was closed.
Guests and visitors were told that an issue 'with one of the pipes' had arisen and meantime the popular facility would be shut.
Other activities in the building were going on as normal.
