PICTURES: Aviemore school pupils' successful fundraiser for Children in Need

Pupils in P3/4 in their Children in Need feelgood outfits.

There were some good costumes on show in the P4/5 class.

P6 pupils braved the Highlands chill for their photo.

Flying the flag proudly after Scotland made the delayed UEFA European Championship 2020 are the senior P7 class.

P5 class members are all lined up neatly for their Pudsey photo.

P3 pupils did their bit for the BBC's Children in Need last Friday.

The youngest pupils show off their Pudsey artwork.

Children in Need provided a feelgood and fun day at Aviemore Primary School.

Head teacher Emma MacCallum said: “We celebrated with a Feelgood Friday and everyone came to school in something that made them feel good! We raised a great total of £240 for Children in Need.

“Members of our Eagles House organised this, and house captains Jacob Bain, Samantha Campbell and Callum Roberts, organised the school’s collection.”

P7 pupil Jacob said: “It was great standing at the gate and seeing what everyone came in to school wearing. Everyone felt really happy.”

Fellow senior class pupil Samantha added: “We were really grateful to raise so much money.”

Calum said there has been other activities too: “In school we learned about the Five to Thrive’ to help have healthy bodies and minds: Connect, Take Notice, Get Active, Be Curious and Give.”
