The wildfires, which broke out at the weekend, have stretched fire crews with firefighters from other parts of Scotland and local gamekeepers joining the fight to extinguish the flames.

Residents in the Forres and Elgin areas have been urged to keep their windows and doors closed as smoke continues to be blown across into Moray.

Several roads around the wildfires also remain closed including the B9007, A939, A940 and the B9102 from Grantown-on-Spey to Upper Knockando and Dallas.

The public is still being asked to avoid the area including footpaths.
