April Fool’s Day this Sunday at the Highland Wildlife Park by Kincraig should be panda-monium.

Visitors exploring the park are being to keep their eyes peeled for costumed characters Tian Tian and Yang Guang in their special enclosure.

The panda duo will be at the park for one day only and keepers will be on hand throughout the day giving talks at 12.15pm and 3pm on the famous arrivals from China.

Daska Mackintosh, Visitor Services Manager at the Highland Wildlife Park, said: "We’re delighted that the Highland Wildlife Park will play host to two VIP costume characters this April Fool’s Day…that’s very important panda costume characters!

"Visitors should be on the lookout for the panda pair in one of the enclosures at the park.

"Our keepers will be giving two talks throughout the day and we hope our visitors will enjoy learning all about the giant pandas at our sister park Edinburgh Zoo."

The wildlife park is home to Walker, the UK’s only polar bear, and the UK’s only musk ox too, as well as over 200 other animals all set in 200 acres of grounds.
