Overnight closures at A86 Loch Laggan works
The second phase of overnight closures required on the A86 west of Lochaber boundary have been rescheduled, says BEAR Scotland.
They were due to start on Tuesday, March 29 for three nights, but bad weather has forced a rethink.
"Surfacing work west of Lochaber boundary will now commence on Sunday, May 1 and is expected to be complete by Wednesday, May 4."
Traffic management will remain the same as originally programmed, a full road closure will be implemented between 8pm and 6am to allow the works to be undertaken safely.
With no suitable diversion route available, amnesties will be provided at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 2am, and 4am each night.
During those times vehicles will be safely escorted through the site under a 10mph convoy traffic management system.
Road users are encouraged to arrive in good time to ensure they are accommodated within the amnesty period.
Outwith working hours, and to keep disruption to a minimum, a speed restriction of 30mph will remain in place on the A86 as traffic will be running over a temporary surface.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Real-time journey information is available from Traffic Scotland or on Twitter.
