Helicopter turns heads at Kingussie
It was all heads up today in the capital of Badenoch as another helicopter circled for the town a few times around lunchtime.
But it wasn't the Coastguard looking to airlift mountain casualties and it wasn't Police Scotland searching for missing persons this time.
It was one of a fleet flown by Dalcross-based PDG Aviation Services.
A spokesperson for the company told the Strathy: "It will have been carrying out general survey work on the railway line."
There were no specific details of the mission available, but several passes were made in cold but clear conditions before the vehicle turned away again towards Inverness.
With over 40 years of experience the company provides a diverse range of aviation services across a wide variety of sectors.
