Three weeks now with no new confirmed or suspected on deaths from Covid-19 in NHS Highland
There have been no new deaths from either confirmed or suspected Covid-19 in the last seven days in the NHS Highland area – for the third week in a row.
There has only been one death in the area since June 7.
That means the current coronavirus-related death toll in the health board area remains at 115.
Each Wednesday the National Records of Scotland (NRS) issues numbers of cases where Covid-19 has been mentioned on a death certificate.
The total number of Highland deaths in care homes remains at 39, while there have been 15 deaths at home and 61 in hospital.
Within the smaller Highland Council area the total death toll remains at 51, with 16 in care homes, seven at home and 28 in hospital.
Scotland as a whole has seen a rise in the total number of Covid-19 deaths of seven – bringing the total to 4208.
