New Majorca flight from Inverness announced
Thomson and First Choice have announced a new six week route from Inverness to Majorca.
The new route will be part of their summer 2017 flying programme, which will start next year on June 16.
The news comes only weeks before British Airways launches a new daily service from Inverness to Heathrow (from May 3) and KLM launches daily flights to Amsterdam Schiphol from the Highland capital (May 17).
The Thomson move, announced today (April 21), is part of the holiday company’s strategy to “ensure customers from across the UK can fly from their local airport and stay at the best hotels in some of the most exciting destinations.”
It goes on sale immediately in line with the launch of summer 2017 holidays.
Customers travelling on the new route to Majorca will now have access to some of Thomson and First Choice’s most popular flagship hotels, including Thomson’s 4T Family Life Coma Gran and First Choice’s 5Sun Holiday Village Majorca.

The addition of the route will give customers in the Highlands more flexibility when deciding on their 2017 summer holiday.
