Woman, 40, charged over death of man in Ayr flat

A woman has been charged in connection with the death of a man in Ayr earlier this month.
Police were called to a report of a 42-year-old man found seriously injured in a flat in the town’s Glenmuir Place at around 8.10pm on Saturday July 5.
Mark Blackwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that a 40-year-old woman arrested on Thursday in connection with the death has now been charged.
She will appear in court in due course.
