ICT run riot at Forres

By Graham Linton

ANDREW Shinnie scored twice as Caley Thistle enjoyed a comprehensive 7-0 triumph over Forres at Mosset Park.

After defeating another Highland League side in the shape of near-neighbours Clach 2-0 earlier in the week, Inverness enjoyed total dominance in their second friendly match of the pre-season campaign.

Three goals in four first half minutes set the tone for this encounter as Nick Ross, Richie Foran and trialist Andrew Shinnie all got themselves on the scoresheet before the interval.

Graeme Shinnie scored his second goal in as many games to make it 4-0 in the 69th minute before his brother was on target again nine minutes later.

Youngsters Andy Greig and Martin Laing came off the bench to complete the scoring with a goal apiece inside the final 10 minutes.
