New-look Highland can defeat Dumfries

Rory Cross feels that Highland are a totally different prospect for Dumfries tomorrow compared to the last time the sides faced off.

Cross will make his return to the first team this weekend after recovering from a badly sprained ankle he sustained on the opening day of the season.

He comes back into the fold to face a Dumfries side who Highland played in National Three two seasons ago.

Dumfries won 24-5 at home last time they met in February 2017, but Cross is confident that Highland will come out on top this time given the amount that has changed at the club.

“I remember the last time we played them, it was down in Dumfries, and we were really disappointed with how that game went,” Cross recalled.
