Dingwall JLS gig travel details

A full programme of transport has been planned to get JLS fans safely to the band's gig on Saturday.

A park ‘n’ ride will open from 2pm onwards on Saturday at the Auction Mart, Dingwall. This will be a securely parked service and a charge of £5 will be in place on the day.

A JLS express has been organised to transport fans by train from Inverness at 2.39pm and will return after the event from Dingwall at 10.54pm.

The length of the train has been extended for the event, but organisers are recommending that tickets are purchased in advance to avoid disappointment.

BUS: A special service 927 will leave Inverness bus station on Saturday from 3pm, running every 15 minutes until 6.45pm, and then return from 10.15pm every 10 minutes until 11.35pm.

Service 925 will depart Invergordon at 3pm (then Alness 3.10pm, Evanton 3.20pm) running every 30 minutes until 6.30pm and then returning from 10.15pm every 15 minutes until 11.30pm.

The buses will drop off and pick up passengers on Tulloch Street in Dingwall.

Fares on the bus routes will match the current single and return fares on the local bus routes:

Inverness - Dingwall £4.50 return, Invergordon – Dingwall £5.50 return, Alness –Dingwall £5.50 return,

Evanton – Dingwall £3.90 return. Gates to the concert will open at 5pm.
