Sixth summer signing for Rothes
ROTHES have made another summer signing by luring experienced centre back Martin MacDonald from Clach.
The 32-year-old was at Nairn County for ten years, had spells at Huntly and Clach and came back from a cruciate ligament injury sustained last year.
He will team up in the centre of Rothes' defence next season with Jamie Duff, the former Elgin City captain who was signed from Brora in May.
Rothes boss Steven MacDonald has now made six signings during the close season.
As well as Duff and MacDonald, former Caley Thistle defender Ally Stark was recruited along with midfielders Scott Graham from Brora and Iain Maclellan from Fort William.
Perhaps the best bit of business carried out by boss MacDonald was in taking in highly rated striker Steven Anderson from Wick Academy.
Moving in the opposite direction are defender Stephen Rennie to Strathspey Thistle and midfielder Blair Maclennan to Deveronvale.
