Thom at the double when it comes to maximum scores
GAVIN Thom fired two 180s in Turriff and District Darts latest round of fixtures.
There were big wins for the Railway and Cuminestown in division one.
The Railway beat the Fife Arms 18-7, while Cuminestown were 17-8 winners over the Deveronside B.
The Football Club also enjoyed a big win at the Deveronside A, emerging 19-8 winners.
The Castle and Legion B also triumphed.
In division two the Royal Oak A and Park Hotel both had good wins.
Thom was the only player to fire two 180s but there were a lot of players who also fired a maximum. They were: Ross Stevenson, Scott Robertson, Stu Singer, Grant MacDonald, Danny Trueman, Wayne Donnachie, Bruce Troup, Alexander Wood, Neil Quinn, Bruce Sutherland, Ferg Henderson and John Clark.
The top checkouts came from Andy West on 154 and Dannye Trueman on 142.
Other high checkouts: Raymond Massie 126, Grant MacDonald 120, Keith Stephen 120 and 116, Neil Quinn 108, Adam Michie 104, Ferg Henderson 104 and Richard Moir 100.
