Barry Wilson says John Robertson and Inverness Caledonian Thistle are the only reasons he made the decision to return to football after accepting a position to become the club’s new coach.
His appointment was announced this week where he will work with the first team and under-18 squads.
He is part of the new coaching team at the Caledonian Stadium along with Ryan Esson being announced as first team and goalkeeping coach and Scott Kellacher named as the new assistant manager to replace Brian Rice.
Wilson (46) played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle during two periods of his career between 1996 and 2000 before moving to Livingston.
