IRISH rockers The Saw Doctors have announced a gig in Inverness.

The band will be playing at The Ironworks on Wednesday, July 13.

They have built up a cult following in their homeland where they have had 18 top 30 hits including three no.1 singles. They have also built a loyal following in the UK and in the United States.

Their first best-seller, I Useta Lover, topped the Irish charts for nine weeks in 1990 and is the all-time best selling single in Ireland.

The Saw Doctors played the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in 2009 to a capacity crowd on the Garden Stage and proved that they are still at the top of their game and guaranteed to get audiences going.

Tickets for the gig go on sale from Friday, May 13.
