Highland Fabricators Cup win for host club

Last weekend saw a team win for Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club as well as individual success for its member Grant Kerr at Royal Dornoch.

Tain Golf Club despatched a team of five (Munro Ferries, Billy Ferries, Sean Kennedy, Scott McDougall and Gus Gurney) to Gairloch last Sunday to defend the Highland Fabricators Cup against the host club, Fortrose and Rosemarkie.

With only three clubs entered, once more the match-play element of the competition was set aside and one stroke-play round played with the best of four cards counting.
