Elderly Invergordon woman robbed as she slept

Police in Invergordon are appealing to the public for information after a pensioner was robbed as she slept.

The sneak in theft in the town happened overnight between Friday and Saturday.

A spokesman said a house on Seabank Road, Invergordon, was entered and items taken.

An elderly female, who was asleep within the house, had a three figure sum of money taken from within a handbag within the house. Other small items were also taken.
