Wildcats are feeling ready for Britbowl

Highland Wildcats travel down to Derby for Britbowl this weekend and they may have a point to prove against their first round opponents.

The Scottish under-17 champions enter the event as the number six seeds and will face Etone Jaguars first.

Wildcats’ youth development officer Robbie Paulin says they are feeling as prepared as they can be, even if their opponents didn’t know where the Wildcats were based.

“We’ve selected our top 23 that we’re going to be taking down and for the last few practices all 23 have been there. The guys have been really focused, they’re really ready for it," he said.
