HIGHLAND RFC have suffered a false start to the 2018/19 campaign as the National League Cup game at Glasgow Accies has been called off.

Glasgow Accies announced they would be unable to raise a team at New Anniesland tomorrow and it is expected the Inverness side will receive a bye into the next round.

Highland, who won the National Three title last season will kick off their National Two league campaign against Preston Lodge FP on Saturday, September 1 at Canal Park.
