Accident probe after motorcyclist dies in Wester Ross on Bealach na Ba route

The 60-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle collision on the Bealach na Ba near Applecross on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services received the call at around 4.25pm.

Police said the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The road was closed to allow an accident investigation to be carried out by police.

Police thanked members of the public for their patience.
