Ross County 5 (Mckay x3, Keillor-Dunn, Graham)

Greenock Morton 0

Ross County were never troubled as they eased to a 4-0 win against Greenock Morton.

The Cappielow Park outfit had been the only team to beat County in the league so far this season, but Billy Mckay made sure they would not enjoy a repeat success with a hat trick.

The Northern Irish international opened the scoring in the ninth minute.

Jamie Lindsay played a brilliant through ball for the striker to latch on to in plenty of space, and Mckay curled it past Ryan Scully and into the far corner.

His second and third goals were both tap ins from close range - the first after good work inside the box from Don Cowie and the latter after a counter attack with Josh Mullin.

Davis Keillor-Dunn got in on the act with a goal of his own, a well worked move between Jamie Lindsay and Mckay forging the opportunity for him.

And County made it five when Brian Graham angled a driven cross-field pass to McManus on the edge of the Morton box.

McManus was taken down by Kilday as he tried to move forward, and the referee pointed to the spot. Graham sent Scully the wrong way to round off the scoring.
